Trader reputation levels
Trading is scored separately from selling. Every trader climbs a six-level ladder driven by a 100-point Trader Score — trade completion, counterparty ratings, ship speed, disputes, trade volume and account history. Higher levels raise your per-trade value and live-trade limits, so caps unlock with proven reliability, not volume grinding.

🚫 Abandoning a trade costs a $2.99 re-listing penalty and drops your Trader Score. Three abandonments hides you from the match feed until you settle up.

I'm a trading card fanatic myself: I grew up collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon, and as I got older I fell into playing Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, and the Pokémon TCG, along with collecting sports cards. This site was built by someone who loves this hobby just like you.
Week in and week out I'd walk vendor events and trade show floors, and the one thing the online TCG marketplace never really offered was true card-for-card trading — buying and selling were everywhere, but the heart of the hobby, the trade itself, was still stuck offline. CardSwap exists to bring that real trading experience online: real traders matching on the cards they both want.
Using AI technology, I was able to take the ideas in my head and bring them into fruition — designing, building, and shipping a full TCG marketplace as a single person with limited means, so a matching engine like this could finally exist for the community I love.
CardSwap took a long time to build and carried real risk — I'm not a big company, and I don't have a lot of money.
